Travel at Sweden's largest airports continues to decline significantly.

During November, 386,000 people flew via Swedavia's ten airports, a decrease of 87 percent compared to just over three million travelers in the same period last year.

The biggest decrease was in flights via Bromma Airport, where the number of passengers has plummeted by 95 percent in November, and by 78 percent in 2020 so far.

“"November will be the ninth month in a row with historically weak figures for aviation as a result of the pandemic. An increased spread of infection combined with new and expanded restrictions contributes to increased uncertainty and is likely to dampen demand," says Swedavia's CEO Jonas Abrahamsson in a press release.

During the third quarter of the year, Swedavia, which is owned by the Swedish state, made a loss of SEK 717 million.
