Several of Tuesday's SAS flights are missing both food and drinks. A staff shortage at the catering supplier has meant that affected passengers have been compensated with food vouchers.
”"We expect it to be business as usual tomorrow," says SAS press manager Anna Sandell.
Passengers on a large number of SAS flights from Arlanda have been unable to order food or drinks on board on Tuesday. The reason is a staff shortage at the catering supplier.
”"We have not been able to load any catering today and this is due to illness among the carrier," says SAS press manager Anna Sandell.
She doesn't know exactly how many flights are affected, but it applies to shorter domestic and European routes. The affected passengers have been informed via text message.
”"As it stands right now, it should be back to normal tomorrow. But we are waiting for further information. All passengers should have received a voucher so they can buy food on board," says Anna Sandell.
