The State Department advises against all travel to the Belgorod, Voronezh and Rostov regions of Russia, which border separatist-controlled areas in eastern Ukraine.
Travel to the Brest and Gomel regions in Belarus is also advised against.
”"Due to the serious and unpredictable security situation, including the increased Russian troop concentration in the area, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to extend the advice against all travel to the Russian regions bordering Ukraine," said Foreign Minister Ann Linde (S) in a statement.
