The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is extending the current travel advice to most countries in the world, according to a press release.
The advisory is extended to and with October 15, and applies to all countries except those removed from Ministry of Foreign Affairs' list. Several EU countries, but also countries such as the USA, Australia, the UK, South Korea and Qatar, have previously been removed from the list.
”"The pandemic is not over. The global situation is still uncertain and rapidly changing," writes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and continues:
”Even for countries "Where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not advise against travel, a great responsibility rests with the individual traveler. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges all Swedish travelers to read carefully before traveling, to follow local rules and to plan their return trip in advance.".
