Starting Wednesday, Chinese authorities will once again issue a range of visas to foreigners wishing to enter China, as the country has taken steps in recent months to reopen after the pandemic.

In addition to processing new visas, people who received visas before March 28, 2020 that are still valid will be allowed to enter China.

China received 65.7 million international visitors in 2019, according to data from the UN World Tourism Organization.
