The Nordic market leader in travel money is strengthening its presence at Arlanda with a new shop in the departures hall of Terminal 5. This is FOREX's fourth shop at the airport and marks a long-awaited return to the terminal before security.
The shop is open Monday to Friday between 04:00 and 19:00 all year round. We have extensive knowledge of currencies and destinations, with the aim of helping travellers get more out of their travel money and travel with greater control. In short; to maximise their travel funds.
The shop offers a wide range of foreign currencies that can be pre-ordered online or purchased on-site. It is also possible to apply for a FOREX Credit Card and send money abroad with Western Union.
– For us, it’s about so much more than currency. We want to contribute to a smoother travel experience. When the journey begins calmly, with the currency already sorted, you can focus on what you want to experience at your destination, says Niklas Lydahl, CCO at FOREX.
The new store is a step in FOREX's investment to increase accessibility for both new and returning customers. Cash remains important as a means of payment in destinations outside of Sweden and the Nordic region.
– Being in the right place at the right time is crucial in our business. Terminal 5 is a central hub for international travel, and being established on both sides of the security check strengthens FOREX's position as the obvious choice for purchasing foreign currency, says Niklas Lydahl.
The new store complements the existing stores in Sky City and Terminal 2 (both pre-security) and Terminal 5 (post-security), as well as 24 ATMs.
