At a ceremony tonight in Stavanger, Norway, new Michelin stars were awarded to several Nordic restaurants.
For Sweden, four restaurants received their first star, namely restaurant Aira in Stockholm, Project in Gothenburg, Äng in Tvååker and Hotell Borgholm on Öland.
According to the Michelin Guide, one star stands for a very good restaurant, two stars are worth a detour and three stars are worth a trip of their own.
