Covid passports and most restrictions will be lifted during the month of March in France as the health situation has improved and the pressure on healthcare has decreased, Prime Minister Jean Castex announced.
As of March 14, the vaccine passport – which proves that a person has received three doses of the vaccine – will no longer be needed to visit cafes and restaurants or attend cultural events.
However, to protect the most vulnerable in the population, a similar passport will continue to be required for visits to healthcare or elderly care facilities, Castex adds.
