A SAS flight attendant has been taken into custody at Arlanda after she tested positive for alcohol.

– It was a random test that the police do before or after a flight, says Alexandra Lindgren Kaoukji, press officer at SAS.

The police are randomly testing flight personnel during working hours and will now investigate the incident further.

“We have zero tolerance for it, both in the entire industry and at SAS,” says Lindgren Kaoukji. If the woman receives any reprisals from SAS, they will not go into it.

– We do not comment on what happens to individual people.

No flight departures were affected.
