Aircraft engine manufacturer GE Aviation plans to cut its workforce by 10 percent due to labor shortages linked to the corona pandemic, CNBC reports.

GE Aviation is part of the GE Group and had approximately 48,000 employees in 2018. GE's shares are down 2.5 percent shortly after the stock market opened.
