Do you find it boring to sit around looking for cheap flights? Then you'll appreciate the AI service Google Flight Deals, which lets you search for travel in free text.

Now it is also available in Sweden. Google launched its AI-based search function Google Flight deals last summer, but at that time only the US, Canada and India were able to take advantage of the feature. In short, it means that you can search for free text with phrases like "I want to go to a family-friendly destination in the heat of May, but with a maximum of five hours of flight time" and then get flight options listed. And now the service is also available to Swedish users. 

You can of course be as specific as you want in your search phrase, but the AI doesn't always understand what you mean. 

The service works best for those who can be flexible with dates, as it provides more attractive prices in the search results. 

Advanced travel planning in progress

Google is also launching a more advanced travel planning tool, but it will initially only be available to US users. The tool is called Canvas, which now lets users use AI to plan their entire trip, including flights and hotels. The service can also list suitable attractions and activities and generate maps. 

It is currently unclear whether the more advanced travel booking will be launched in Sweden.
