Grand Hôtel Stockholm is proud to announce that two more concierges have been elected to the renowned organization Les Clefs d'Or, a global network for professional concierges. This increases the number of members at the hotel from two to four, making Grand Hôtel the hotel in the Nordic region with the most members. As a symbol of the appointment, keys are awarded to be attached to the uniform, a recognized marker of exceptional service and expertise.
Les Clefs d'Or is an exclusive membership and global network for people working in the concierge profession, which since its inception in Paris in the 1920s has grown from a friendly association to a respected international organization. Members wear a golden key on their work uniform, a symbol of quality that guarantees guests an extraordinary service. Membership requires two years of experience as a concierge, recommendations from two international members and a selection process with an application, interview and written assignments on the theme of the hospitality industry in their home city. This is to assess the candidate's suitability as an ambassador for the profession and the destination.
“We always strive to provide our guests, both local and international, with first-class service and a memorable experience. The fact that we now have four concierges who are members of Les Clefs d'Or and have been awarded keys is a great source of pride for us. It is an expression of the expertise, passion and commitment that characterizes Grand Hôtel's employees and reflects our ambition to constantly deliver first-class service, as well as our commitment to be a leader in hospitality,” says Pia Djupmark, CEO of Grand Hôtel Stockholm.
In the Nordic zone of Les Clefs d'Or there are three local sections: Finland, Denmark and Norway/Sweden. Of all the hotels in this region, Grand Hôtel Stockholm is the only one with four members of the prestigious association.
”The well-traveled guest often looks for concierge staff with Les Clefs d'Or keys on their uniform when staying at a hotel. It is not only a quality seal, but it also enables a seamless experience for guests traveling between hotels with concierges carrying keys. It is an immense pleasure to lead and work with a team that is passionate about exceptional service, and has a genuine commitment to the profession, Grand Hôtel and Stockholm as a destination,” says Johanna Picano, Head of Concierge Grand Hôtel Stockholm.
