Britain is considering easing travel restrictions for fully vaccinated people, Reuters reported on Thursday evening.
Earlier on Thursday, the news agency reported that airline Ryanair has joined forces with Manchester Airports Group (MAG) to pursue legal action against Britain over its travel policy. The companies filed papers for a court review at the High Court on Thursday, a MAG spokesman said, according to Reuters.
The Department of Transportation indicated possible easing of travel restrictions for fully vaccinated people on Thursday.
”We have begun analyzing the role of vaccinations to design a new set of health and testing measures for incoming travelers,” a government spokesman commented on Thursday, according to Reuters.
”"That they (the Department of Transport, editor's note) will look more into this is good news from a sentiment perspective," said Peel Hunt's analyst when asked how airlines might be affected by today's statements.
