After the pandemic restrictions were lifted, the desire to be seen and get active is great. At Stromma, there is a significant increase in interest in the company's experiences. Booking pressure for archipelago trips and food cruises has increased by a whopping 23% compared to 2019, which was one of the company's record years.

With the lifting of pandemic restrictions, bookings for excursions and food cruises in the archipelago have increased significantly. So far this year, bookings have increased by approximately 23% compared to 2019, which was a very good year. The increased interest applies to all kinds of experiences, both short and longer archipelago excursions, food cruises, sightseeing tours and boat rentals for companies and private parties.

  • – There seems to be a great pent-up need to see each other and finally do something together again. We are also seeing a cautious increase in the number of foreign tourists, which has been few during the pandemic years. However, there are not that many tourists yet, so the 23% increase has occurred even though tourism from abroad has not yet really started.

The corporate market has also recovered after the pandemic.

  • “We are also seeing greater interest from companies that want to rent a boat and arrange parties and dinners on board,” says Peter Henricson, Sweden manager at Stromma. It is clear that many people want to meet for real and share an experience together.
