Interest in charter trips to warmer countries has been high since the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released its advice against non-essential foreign travel.
The major travel companies have sent thousands of travelers to Spain, Greece and Croatia, writes Expressen.
– All our planes are full. During the whole of July we only had two empty seats in total, which is very unusual. We are basically selling out everything, says Adam Györki, head of communications at Tui.
– The flights that took off this weekend were largely full and we see a lot of demand, says Fredrik Henriksson, Head of Communications at Ving.
So far, Ving and Apollo have flown around 3,500 charter travelers to warmer countries. Tui has 3,000 travelers booked in July.
