For the third year in a row, Swedavia held very well-attended recruitment days at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Gothenburg Landvetter Airport in January. Arlanda welcomed over 2,500 visitors while Landvetter received 1,000 participants. There is continued great interest in working at Sweden's two largest airports – both at Swedavia and many of the airports' partners. After the recruitment days, the pressure to apply for positions at Arlanda and Landvetter has also increased. By the summer, there are over 200 summer job vacancies in various professions and employers to apply for.

-Working at an airport is fantastic and, just like in previous years, this year's recruitment days were very popular. We can see from the increased application pressure for our vacancies that Arlanda and Landvetter are perceived as interesting workplaces, which is pleasing. Recruitment is now underway for the summer and there are still many vacancies to apply for with both us and our partners. Our ambition is to continue with our well-attended recruitment days at Sweden's largest airports next year, says Marie Wiksborg, Director of Business Support, at Swedavia.

Summer is one of the most intense travel periods of the year, where Swedavia and several other companies at the airports need extra reinforcement in various professions, including security personnel, attendants, terminal attendants, customer service employees and cleaners. There are currently approximately 150 summer job vacancies at Arlanda and 70 summer job vacancies at Landvetter to apply for.

Swedavia took the initiative to invite the public to recruitment days as early as 2023 to show the opportunities available in a range of professions and employers at Sweden's largest airports, Arlanda and Landvetter. There has been very high interest among both visitors and companies operating at the airports.

According to the press release.
