Greece is now doing its best to convince people that it is safe to vacation there this summer, according to Swedish Radio's Echo.
During a visit to Stockholm, the country's tourism minister assured that Covid cases are declining, and that all necessary measures have been taken ahead of the season.
– The decline in the number of new cases is rapid and we know that it will continue and that we have things under control, the minister told the radio.
He believes that Swedes are more than welcome to Greece this summer, but a certificate of vaccination or past illness, or a PCR test that is no more than 72 hours old, is required.
From July 1, the same rules apply, but then the results must be verified digitally using the EU-wide Covid-19 certificate.
