After the fatal accident at Gröna Lund where a woman died and several were injured, Gröna Lund is reopening the amusement park.
On Monday and Tuesday, the park remained open with free admission and closed rides, restaurants and retail outlets – to give loved ones and the public the opportunity to honor the victims in silence.
The park was supposed to open at 10 a.m. today, but opened its gates before the scheduled time, says Aftonbladet reporter Nellie Håkansson, who is on site at the amusement park.
The amusement park is quieter than usual, something Gröna Lund CEO Jan Eriksson said they expected. They also believe it will be that way for some time to come.
