Poor visitor numbers this summer mean that Gröna Lund in Stockholm is canceling its planned winter campaign. However, Halloween at Gröna Lund will go ahead as planned.

The fatal accident on the Jetline roller coaster in June, the recession and unstable weather are behind the poor visitor numbers that have affected the park's finances. According to the park, achieving profitability on a new seasonal venture takes time. The winter venture was first carried out in 2022.

The park therefore does not want to take the risk of a winter venture right now.

”"But we hope that the concept can be back as soon as possible," says Jan Eriksson, CEO of Gröna Lund, in a press release.
