Switzerland Tourism has appointed Hanna Rolfer Wrangö as the new Nordic manager for the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau. She has extensive experience in destination marketing, including as Marketing Manager at Visit Stockholm.

– Switzerland stands for quality and efficiency, but what also strikes me is the obvious and very loving relationship one has with nature. My goal is to inspire and facilitate for organisers to create effective and sustainable meetings that really lead to business benefits, says Hanna Rolfer Wrangö, Nordic manager for the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau.

Over the past month, Switzerland has gradually begun to ease the restrictions it previously imposed to limit the spread of COVID-19. The tourism sector has made major investments in domestic tourism, while also preparing for an increasing number of visitors primarily from neighbouring countries. This means that the industry will be operational when travel from the Nordic countries eventually picks up.

– We are seeing that several organisers who previously cancelled events are now starting to plan for their realisation in the not-too-distant future. I look forward to serving as the link between the industry in Switzerland and event organisers in the Nordics, says Hanna Rolfer Wrangö.
