Poenix Reisen's ship MS Amera will dock at the port of Härnösand on July 1st.

The German cruise line Phoenix Reisen is investing in the High Coast. On Friday, July 1, MS Amera will call at Härnösand for the first time, and the same day, the line's other ship MV Artania will call at Örnsköldsvik.

– Phoenix Reisen is the fifth shipping company that has chosen the High Coast and Härnösand in recent years. It started with Birka Cruises and then Silja Line, Viking Line and Hapag Loyd followed. The fact that another shipping company is now choosing our port shows that we continue to be an attractive destination, says Andreas Sjölander (S), chairman of the municipal board.

– It is also a good mark of the good hospitality that all tourism businesses and residents of Härnösand show time and again and of the fine work that we do together with Höga Kusten Destination Development, says Eva-Lotta Öberg, business developer at Härnösand Municipality.

Phoenix Reisen is the first international shipping company this year to visit the High Coast.

The 205-meter-long MS Amera arrives at 10 a.m. on July 1. The approximately 500 passengers have the opportunity to discover the city on their own or visit Hernö Gin, Hemsö Fortress or the High Coast Bridge via excursion packages.

Holding times

MS Amera is located in the port of Härnösand between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

MV Artania is in Örnsköldsvik between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
