Several areas in Southern Europe were shocked by an unusual snowfall on Wednesday. A blanket of snow fell on the French island of Corsica, as well as around Mount Sljeme in Croatia.
The snowfall moved in across Southern Europe in conjunction with a low pressure in the area. It is unusual for it to snow at this time of year in the area and in Corsica, France, authorities advised caution in traffic.
