Heat record in Norway

Remove

Heat records have been broken in several places in Norway.

During the night to Saturday it was 17.6 degrees Celsius in the municipality of Norddal, reports NRK

Heat records have also been broken locally in Trøndelag, Mer, Romsdal and Vestland.

But the February record for Norway of 18.9 degrees remains untouched.

– But the day is not over, and February is not over either. What we can say is that it has been abnormally warm in at least some places, meteorologist Gjermund Haugen tells the channel.

The figures are preliminary and have not yet been quality assured.
