Finnish airline Finnair flew 298,000 passengers in September, which was 158 percent more than in the pandemic-affected month of September 2020.
This is stated in a press release.
Compared to August, the increase was 12 percent, but these figures are not completely comparable as August has one more day than September.
Covid restrictions are still affecting operations, something that is particularly noticeable in traffic to and from Asia and across the Atlantic, writes Finnair.
Capacity in available seat kilometers, the metric known as ASK, grew by 151 percent compared to September 2020 and by 13 percent compared to August.
Revenue per seat kilometer (RPK) grew by 220 percent compared to September 2020 and by 9 percent compared to August.
