Car rental giant Hertz will pay a total of $168 million, equivalent to 1.75 billion kronor, to resolve several legal disputes the company is involved in, writes the AP news agency.

The money will go to resolve several different cases where Hertz has been sued by customers who the company wrongly accused of stealing rental cars.

Hertz does not expect the settlement to have any impact on its capital allocation plan for 2023.
