Home Hotel Uppsala has appointed Sofia Söderin as interim hotel director. The recruitment is part of the hotel's continued efforts to strengthen operations and create a warm and personal hotel environment for both guests and employees.

Sofia Söderin has over 24 years of experience in the hotel and service industry and has worked in various areas of hotel operations since her time on the hotel and restaurant programme in Åre. She now brings a leadership characterised by presence, commitment, and a focus on the guest experience into her new role.

– It feels both exciting, fun, and challenging to step into the role of acting hotel director at Home Hotel Uppsala. I look forward to getting to know both the team and the guests and to developing the hotel further together, says Sofia Söderin.

Throughout her career, she has built up extensive experience within the hotel industry and highlights the importance of collaboration and close leadership.

– What attracted me most to the role was the opportunity to use all the experience I've gathered over the years and to lead a hotel fully. I look forward to contributing new ideas, perspectives, and energy together with the team, says Sofia Söderin.
