Hong Kong warns against travel to South Korea following new virus cases

The Hong Kong government is warning residents against all non-essential travel to South Korea, following reports of more than 200 new coronavirus infections in the country. This is according to CNBC.

Aside from mainland China, South Korea is the country where the most virus infections have been reported, now over 800.

As of Tuesday, people who are not Hong Kong citizens will no longer be allowed to enter the country from South Korea.

In addition, the Hong Kong government will send a plane to the Chinese region of Wuhan to evacuate residents, Bloomberg News reports citing Now TV.

In Hong Kong, around 80 coronavirus cases have been reported.
