A hot air balloon has crashed in Austria – twice, reports AP.

The balloon reportedly made a hard landing in a meadow, ejecting the pilot, co-pilot and two passengers from the basket, which bounced back up. The balloon then took off again with the remaining five passengers in the basket, before crashing, according to local authorities.

The five passengers who remained in the balloon were found with minor injuries five kilometers from the meadow. The pilot reportedly managed to call one of the remaining passengers and instructed them on how to bring the balloon down to the ground.

The accident occurred in Kirchschlag in der Buckligen Welt. Nine people were injured, two of them seriously.
