Hotel entrepreneur Bicky Chakraborty has passed away after a period of illness.
He founded, among other things, the hotel chain Elite Hotels with around 40 hotels and the pub chain Bishops Arms.
Bicky Chakraborty came to Sweden from India at the age of 21, and while studying, he founded his own company. He ran Elite Hotels for 40 years.
Bicky Chakraborty was also involved in tennis and a well-known business figure. He has received several awards, including His Majesty the King's Medal, size 12.
Bicky Chakraborty turned 78.
