SAS and the pilots' union have until noon to reach an agreement - otherwise the announced pilot strike will break out.
The negotiations have been ongoing over the weekend and will resume at 8 a.m. on Monday morning. On Sunday, there were partly contradictory reports from the parties about how the discussions were progressing.
"We are working at a good pace, so there is at least development and will on both sides. That does not mean that everything is agreed upon, there are still many points that require a solution," said Jan Levi Skogvang, leader of the SAS Norway Pilots' Association.
Later on Sunday, SAS's head of negotiations, Marianne Hernæs, said that the parties "are still far apart.".
The deadline has been postponed several times during the course of the negotiation.
