A French human rights group accuses booking sites Airbnb and Booking of ”occupation tourism”, writes AP.

On Thursday, the group, Ligue des droits de l'Homme, filed a lawsuit against the sites for listing accommodations in Israeli settlements in Palestinian territories.

”By offering their services and commissions, these multinational companies enable, both directly and indirectly, the creation and expansion of Israeli settlements,” said the group’s lawyer Patrick Baudouin.

The UN, which condemns the settlements, has identified 158 companies from 11 different countries with connections to activities in the settlements. Among them are Airbnb and Booking.com.
