Hurtigruten evacuated after threats

An anonymous telephone threat caused a Hurtigrutten ship to be evacuated on Wednesday evening, reports Excellent.

MS Nordnorge received a phone call that could be perceived as a threat, according to press spokesperson Martin Henriksen.

"We have no indication that this is likely, but as a precaution, the ship contacted the police. The police will now investigate the matter," he says.

There were 260 passengers and 70 crew members on board. The ship is now in Ålseund.
