British airline owner group IAG remains open-minded about a possible Norwegian deal.

This is stated in a pre-written speech that IAG CEO Willie Walsh will give at the company's annual general meeting.

”"It's not a deal we have to do and we certainly won't get involved in a bidding war," the CEO said at the same time.

Norwegian NAS +3.36% rose around 2 percent on the Oslo Stock Exchange after IAG's statement.
