Now the gates are opening to this year's winter hotel, ICEHOTEL 35, which accommodates 12 unique art suites – including a gigantic rhinoceros in WHOOPS WRONG ROOM!! and Sami crafts in Ahku Fáhcat. In addition, there are 20 ice rooms, a ceremonial hall filled with icy floral splendor for weddings and events, and the iconic pillared hall of almost 30 meters with crystal chandeliers created from 220 hand-carved ice crystals. 

ICEHOTEL 35, which required 500 tons of ice from the Torne River and snis (a mixture of snow and ice), was created by 26 artists from 13 countries, led by Creative Director Luca Roncoroni. In recent weeks, a dedicated team of builders, artists, lighting designers, ice production and artist support have been working intensively to complete the hotel.

In the year-round open part of the hotel; ICEHOTEL 365, there are an additional 18 art and deluxe suites, an ice gallery and the completely new ice bar. ICEBAR In Orbit. Here, visitors can experience an unforgettable space journey, have a drink with a life-size astronaut made of ice and snow in the ice bar and make a quick exit through an ice slide. Since its opening, over a million guests from all over the world have visited ICEHOTEL, which melts back into the Torne River every spring.
