Arlanda travelers can now shop for Scandinavian gift items, souvenirs and design products for their own use or as a gift for a friend. On Thursday, June 12, the Danish interior design store Illums Bolighus opened at Stockholm Arlanda Airport as one of the last units at Marknadsplatsen – the largest commercial venture in Arlanda's history.
The last establishment of the spring at Stockholm Arlanda Airport's new Marknadsplats in Terminal 5, recently named "Commercial Place of the Year 2025" by the industry organization Nordic Commercial Spaces & Communities (NCSC), is the Danish interior design store Illums Bolighus. Here, travelers passing through Sweden's largest airport can find a well-curated assortment of Scandinavian design products, accessories and souvenirs to take with them out into the world or home to their loved ones.

In the 200 m² store in the middle of the Market Square in Terminal 5, Illums Bolighus offers popular Scandinavian brands such as Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, Skandinavisk, Orrefors, Kosta Boda, Konges Sløjd, Maileg, Kay Bojesen and Rains – all known for high quality and a strong Nordic design tradition. Modern home interiors and functional everyday items coexist with selected Nordic jewelry and accessories, stylish elements for table setting, classic Scandinavian seasonal products and a creative children's range with products for the youngest in the family.
