Boeing's crashed 737 Max plane has undergone certification tests by the US aviation authority FAA for the first time since the model was grounded in March 2019.
For three days, FAA personnel have been test-flying the 737 Max 7, a slightly smaller variant than the Max 8 whose two fatal crashes triggered the review.
Boeing has changed the plane's autopilot and the FAA will now evaluate the results of the tests. A possible flight permit is not expected until September at the earliest.
