83 doctoral students from 24 countries will meet on January 23 at Jönköping International Business School for a workshop on so-called e-tourism.

The workshop is held in conjunction with the twenty-fifth annual ENTER conference, which takes place in Jönköping on January 24-26.

E-tourism, i.e. all aspects of digitalization in the tourism industry, is the focus of both the conference and the workshop. The event is organized by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) and hosted by the Media Management and Transformation Centre (MMTC) at Jönköping International Business School, Jönköping University.

The workshop is an opportunity for doctoral students researching IT in the travel and tourism industry. It is also an opportunity for networking. Participants will receive tips from editors at leading scientific journals on how to best write and submit articles.

MMTC is a research center at Jönköping University that is interested in issues of digitalization, innovation and strategy in the media industry.
