During the period April to June, which is the first quarter of the company's broken financial year, Ryanair reported a profit of 663 million euros, equivalent to 7.6 billion kronor.
The result thus exceeds analysts' expectations of 648 million euros in profit, according to Bloomberg's compilation.
At the same time, the company is lowering its full-year forecast – down to 183.5 million passengers from 185 million. Ryanair attributes the forecast change to delivery delays from aircraft manufacturer Boeing.
