Here's the cheapest way to vacation abroad this year

Remove

The krona has been the strongest against the world's major currencies this year. This means that it is not as expensive to vacation abroad. By choosing a "cheap" country, your travel budget will last longer.

– Yes. It's fun for those who are going out and traveling, says Tom Friberg, communications manager at Forex. In the list at the bottom of the article you will find the European countries that are the cheapest – and most expensive – to travel to this summer. Swedes have long been a traveling people. Curiosity is great about other countries.

We have often defied our low-valued krona and put our savings towards a holiday abroad. However, recently the krona has strengthened significantly against other currencies. This means that more people are turning their attention abroad.

In a survey conducted by Nordea at the beginning of the year, 48 percent of respondents in Sweden stated that they planned to travel more in 2025. The sample was representative of the Swedish population in terms of gender, age and region.

At the same time, it's no secret that we like to choose old favorites. Spain, Italy and Greece always end up in the top ten list.
