In connection with more incoming travelers to Israel and a decreasing number of corona infections, tests will no longer be required for entry as of May 21 (midnight between May 20 and May 21, Israeli time). The requirements to be able to present a negative PCR or antigen test before departure, as well as PCR test and isolation after arrival, will be removed.

Travelers will still need to fill out a entry statement within 48 hours before departure to Israel. 

In April 2022, 207,400 tourists arrived in Israel, which has led to an estimate that the total number of tourists to the country in 2022 will be between 1.5 and 2 million.
