Liseberg expects its operating profit for the full year 2023 to be zero due to a tough summer with fewer visitors. This is stated in a press release.

2022 was a record year for Liseberg, which had an operating profit of SEK 240 million. However, this year a significantly worse result is expected.

”The figures are not in line with our expectations, but a understandable consequence of four very turbulent years, during and after the pandemic, says Andreas Andersen, CEO of Liseberg.

The forecast comes after the summer season closed at Liseberg. In total, the amusement park had 1.55 million visitors, which is a decrease of 6 percent compared to 2022.

Turnover also fell by approximately 10 percent.
