Now it will be Jan Eriksson who will lead the work of the historic fairground into the future. A future that already this year includes a 140th anniversary and the start of work on creating a completely new fairground area in Gröna Lund's parking lot.
During the autumn, the recruitment process for a new CEO has been in full swing, and we are now pleased to announce that Jan Eriksson will be the new CEO of Gröna Lund as of January 9. Janne most recently came from the role of CIO for the amusement park group Parks and Resorts (of which Gröna Lund is a part), where he was instrumental in developing digital systems and solutions for ticket bookings, attraction queues and food purchases.
– Gröna Lund has entertained generations of people for 140 years and at the same time has incredibly exciting times ahead of it, with both expansion plans in the parking lot and new experiences during more periods of the year. I look forward to being part of the journey that this historic amusement park now has ahead of it, together with all the fantastic employees, and contributing to it,” says Jan Eriksson, new CEO of Gröna Lund.

Jan Eriksson replaces Magnus Widell who, after almost 10 years at Gröna Lund, left the CEO position on September 1, 2022 to take on new challenges.
