The recruitment is part of a larger reorganization within Fyrstads Flygplats AB, which operates Gothenburg Stallbacka Airport. The aim is to distribute responsibility across more management functions and meet increased regulatory requirements within aviation.

Jonna Westberg will begin her position on December 1 and, after an introduction and handover period, will formally assume the role of Airport Manager and Accountable Manager.

In this position, she will have overall responsibility for the airport's operations and ensuring that it complies with applicable laws and aviation regulations.

– I'm really looking forward to getting to know the airport and all my new colleagues. It will be fun to work in a larger context and I hope I can contribute to the development of the airport, says Jonna Westberg.

More management functions are being introduced

In connection with the reorganization, the operations are also strengthened with the functions of Airside Operations Manager and Safety Manager.

– Through the reinforcements we are now making in the organization, we are distributing responsibility across more key functions and creating better conditions to meet increasing regulatory requirements while increasing our resources to develop the business forward, says Josef Khan, CEO of Fyrstads Flygplats AB.

Gothenburg Stallbacka Airport is used both for regular scheduled traffic and as an emergency airport.

The airport is owned and operated by Fyrstads Flygplats AB, which in turn is owned by the city of Trollhättan and the municipalities of Vänersborg, Uddevalla and Lysekil.
