A positive person with high ambitions, a passion for old Volkswagens, running and singing, is how Karl-Filip “Kalle” Myrkrans describes himself, who from the end of September is our new head of marketing and communications.

Together with his colleagues in the marketing and communications department, Kalle will lead the work to continue strengthening Dalarna's attractiveness as a visitor destination, where digitalization and internationalization are important aspects for strengthening the tourism industry's players.

Kalle has solid experience in marketing and communications and most recently came from a position as Marketing Manager at Sacpro AB in Falun and before that worked for ten years in various positions within Clas Ohlson.

– I am really looking forward to becoming part of the team and working with the fantastic Dalarna brand. Together with my new colleagues and in collaboration with our other stakeholders, we will continue to strengthen the tourism industry in Dalarna, says Kalle Myrkrans, emphasizing that Dalarna is a fantastic place to both visit and live.

– Dalarna is today Sweden's fourth largest visitor region with the goal of being Northern Europe's leading and most attractive destination by 2030, and communication and marketing play a major role there. Kalle has broad experience, both nationally and internationally, and we look forward to him starting with us to continue strengthening the work that is underway, says Chatarina Eriksson, CEO of Visit Dalarna.
