A group of French prosecutors have expressed interest in bringing charges against airline group Air France-KLM, Reuters reports, citing sources. The interest in prosecuting stems from the 2009 crash that killed all 228 passengers.
It was in June 2009 that flight AF447 between Rio de Janeiro and Paris crashed into the Atlantic Ocean after the plane, an Airbus A330-200, crashed.
The airline's stock was down about 1.5 percent on the Paris Stock Exchange at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
