SAS airline CEO Anko van der Werff is one of the main candidates to take over as CEO of Air Canada, Bloomberg reports, citing sources.

He is expected to succeed Michael Rousseau, who has announced that he is leaving the post after criticism for not speaking French in a corporate video.

According to the sources, no decision has been made and Air Canada's board may choose another candidate. SAS, Air Canada and Anko van der Werff have not commented on the information.
