Copenhagen Airport Kastrup has been the victim of a hacker attack on its website. The airport announced this on social media. The attack affects the website but should not affect traffic.

”"It's a denial of service attack, a DDoS attack," says press spokesperson Lene Elmegaard to TV 2 Kosmopol.

She states that several government websites appear to have been affected.

”"It looks to be more professionally organized than the (attacks) we've experienced before," she says.

According to DR, a pro-Russian hacker group that has previously attacked the Finnish parliament, among other things, is behind the attack.

The airports on Bornholm and in Thisted in northern Jutland have also been attacked.

”"I don't think they know how small our airport is," says Thisted Municipality's press officer Michael Max to TV Midtvest.
