Kenneth Hervik takes up the role of Vice President Commercial Performance at Nordic Hotels & Resorts. He most recently comes from the position of Regional Vice President Digital EAME at Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Zurich. With extensive experience of working globally and across borders, he now takes on responsibility for Nordic Hotels & Resorts' commercial operations.
It is with great pleasure that Nordic Hotels & Resorts welcomes Kenneth Hervik as the new Vice President of Commercial Performance. He joins the company with extensive experience working at the intersection of digital innovation, revenue, sales, and marketing.
– I am very proud to be able to welcome Kenneth Hervik to Nordic Hotels & Resorts. As we now take ambitious steps forward, his extensive experience will be important for both managing our portfolio and for strategic growth. His digital perspective, positive energy and inspiring leadership are a perfect fit for our company, says Henrik Berghult, Chief Operating Officer at Nordic Hotels & Resorts.
Kenneth is a well-known name within Strawberry. He began his career with studies at EHL Hospitality Business School in Lausanne and has worked at iconic hotels such as The Dorchester in London and Four Seasons in Berlin, as well as within the lifestyle segment with international retail at Nespresso. Kenneth's career at Strawberry began in 2016, where he most recently held the position of Vice President Digital Guest Experience at eBerry. Here, he was responsible for the digital guest journey, including product development of the company's app. He most recently comes from the role of Regional Vice President Digital EAME at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, based in Zurich. There, he played a key role in driving significant initiatives that considerably increased direct bookings and drove substantial growth.
When Kenneth returns to a familiar workplace, he does so with a clear vision of how the digital landscape of the future should be approached. In his new role, he will be responsible for Nordic Hotels & Resorts' commercial strategy. Having worked with global brands, Kenneth is well acquainted with the opportunities that standalone hotels offer, where each brand is unique and simultaneously part of a larger, exceptional portfolio. His holistic approach to managing a commercial operation – from brand building to digital channel conversion – will meet the needs of guests, now and in the future.
– It feels fantastic to be given this trust. I’ve had my eye on Nordic Hotels & Resorts for a long time, and especially this role, which is made for me. I look forward to working in such a fast-paced organisation as this, and with such ambitious teams. It will be like coming home to an organisation I love, Strawberry, but at the same time with the added excitement of new challenges in a new workplace, Nordic Hotels & Resorts, says Kenneth Hervik.
Kenneth Hervik will take up his position on 1 December 2024 and will be part of Nordic Hotels & Resorts' management team. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Henrik Berghult.
