Pilots at Dutch airline KLM – part of Air France-KLM – have agreed to pay cuts, allowing the airline to receive 3.4 billion euros in state aid, Reuters reports.
The pilot union had previously agreed to lower wages until March 2022, but the Dutch government has demanded a guarantee that wages will remain at those levels for at least three years after that period.
