Kosta Safari Park has today been awarded the prize ”Tourism Company of the Year in Kronoberg” and is therefore nominated for the Grand Tourism Prize, which is awarded by Tillväxtverket! Park manager John Källström, Emil Jarkrans and destination manager Emil A Jansson are very proud and happy.
”The award feels fantastic and we want to give great praise to everyone who has contributed to creating this business,” says Destination Manager Emil A Jansson.
The justification for the win:
Kosta Safaripark runs a 200-hectare safari park in the Småland wilderness where visitors can see European bison, wild boar, mouflon, red deer, fallow deer, and elk. Visitors can drive through the park in their own car. There is also a souvenir shop on the premises.
With its Småland ingenuity, Kosta Safaripark has been focused on circular sustainability from the outset. They were quick to see opportunities in the changes brought about by the pandemic. It contributes to the increased attractiveness of the entire Glass Kingdom. Furthermore, Kosta Safaripark is a destination accessible to everyone.
